New Schools Approval Board. In 2009, the Wisconsin State Legislature authorized the Institute to pre-accredit new schools entering the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program. Applicant schools submit a comprehensive Educational Plan for a technical review. A review team visits the site of the applicant schools whose Educational Plans pass the technical review and prepares a report for the Board.
